The Cheerio Story

WARNING: Great stupidity ahead. Side effects may include groans and headaches.

Once upon a time, there was a lonely plain cheerio. Now, he was very very lonely, so to combat his sad feelings, he decided to go online and join Cheerio Mingle in hopes to find the girl cherio of his dreams. He began messaging, and what do you know, pretty soon he had a girl who he was regularly chatting with. He thought it was time to finally meet her. So, he sent her a message asking her if she would like to go bowling. Quickly, the girl cheerio replied

"No! You're a plain cheerio! I'm a strawberry cheerio, I can't be seen out in public with you!"

Saddened but not loosing hope, the guy cheerio responded

"If I were to become a Strawberry cheerio, would you go out with me?"

The girl then responded

"Of course I would"

So the guy cheerio worked and worked and worked for a whole year to become half a Strawberry cheerio. Hoping that maybe she would be content with him being only half a Strawberry cheerio, he asked the girl cheerio if she would go out with him. Unfortunately, she replied that she could only go out with him once he had become a full Strawberry cheerio. So he worked and worked and worked for another year to become a full Strawberry cheerio. He then sent a message to the girl.

"I'm now a Strawberry cheerio. Will you go out with me?"

She then replied

"No! I'm a chocolate cheerio now, I can't be seen in public with a Strawberry cheerio!"

The guy cheerio then asked

"If I were to become a chocolate cheerio, then would you go out with me?"

"Of course I would" she replied.

And so he worked and worked and worked for four years to become half a chocolate cheerio. Remembering that she would only be content with him being a full chocolate cheerio, he decided to work and work and work and work for six years to become a full chocolate cheerio. He then sent the girl cheerio a message.

"I am now a full chocolate cheerio. Will you go out with me?"

"No!" She replied. "I'm a blueberry cheerio, and I can't be seen in public with a chocolate cheerio?"

Saddened but yet again not losing hope, the guy cheerio asked

"If I were to become a full blueberry cheerio, would you go out with me?"

"Of course I would" she replied.

And thus he worked and worked and worked and worked for twenty years to become one fourth of a blueberry cheerio. He knew this could never be good enough for her, and so he worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked for eighty nine years to become a full blueberry cheerio. Hopeful, he sent a message to the girl cheerio.

"I've become a full blueberry cheerio. Will you go out with me?"

"No!" She replied, "I'm a honey nut cheerio, and I can't be seen out in public with a blueberry cheerio!"

By now, the guy cheerio had figured out the routine. And so he asked

"If I were to become a honey nut cheerio, then would you go out with me?"

"Yes, I would" she replied.

And so he worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked for three hundred years to become one fourth of a honey nut cheerio. He knew this would never do, and so he worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked and worked for nine thousand years to become a full honey nut cheerio. (Hey, honey nut cheerios is an exclusive club, they don't just let any old cheerio into the club).

Excited and hopeful, he messaged the girl cheerio yet again.

"I am now a full honey nut cheerio. Would you like to go bowling with me?'"

And she replied

"Sure"

A simple word, sure, but it made the guy cheerio so extremely excited. He had worked for this for years and he could not wait to finally see her.

The two arrived at the bowling alley and sat down. The girl cheerio then turned to the guy cheerio and said

"I'm thirsty. Do you think you could go get us some punch?"

"Yeah, I could do that" said the guy cheerio.

He then proceded to walk over to the multiple lines for drinks. He could not see what was at the front of each line, so he jumped in one and hoped for the best. He waited and waited and waited for three hundred years. When he got to the end, he asked the person there what they were selling. They told him it was Doctor Pepper, not punch. Distressed, the guy cheerio jumped into the next line.

He waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited for one thousand years to get to the end of the line. When he finally reached the end, he asked the person there what they were selling. He told them they were selling sprite. The guy cheerio was starting to get a little frustrated now, but there was still one more line and he thought he might as well try that.

And so he jumped in that line and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited for ten thousand years until he finally reached the end of the line. At the end of the line he asked what they were selling. They told him they were selling orange soda. Angered, he asked the person at the end of the line

"Dude! Where's the punch line?"

He responded

"There is no punch line"

Doctor Strange Review (No Spoilers!)

Hello all! I know this isn't what I usually do here, but hey, this blog is still new, we have time to experiment. And after seeing Doctor Strange, I just got so excited I had to talk about it with somebody, and you guys are always great to talk to. Oh, and don't worry, there's no spoilers here. So here we go!

Alright, so my initial reaction: Ahhh!! It's awesome!!! I love this movie! Doctor Strange has made me excited about the MCU again!

Ok, and here's what I think after some thought. The movie was definitely awesome and I still love it. Some of the visual effects were a little off, but with the massive amount of visual effects in this movie, who am I to judge? Like, seriously, this movie is insane! I stayed after the credits to see all the people involved in creating the visual effects. Dang...

So on the topic of visual effects, they were really really cool. When the trailers for Doctor Strange first came out, I thought it would be kind of like Inception. This movie goes way beyond what inception did. It's so mind boggling awesome. The effects definitely made the fight scenes super different and interesting. Speaking of fight scenes...

The fight scenes. These scenes were some of the best fight scenes I've seen in a superhero movie. Why? Because it's so different. I think something Captain America Civial War showed me is that we're starting to get really tired of the same old rehashed action sequences, the same old "punch punch, fight fight, cut cut". Doctor Strange is different. There were a lot less cuts than traditional fight scenes, and with all of the dimension hopping, time bending, and world molding, the fights never cease to be interesting. Its original and cool, something very different than the tired gift formula we've seen with the Avengers movies. Since its been announced that strange will be joining the avengers, let's hope more fight scenes like the ones presented in this movie will make their way into cinema.

Tie in to the Avengers. I think this movie shows that Doctor Strange could easily be a good addition to the Avengers. He has a different perspective and different talents and powers that I think the Avengers desoeratly need.

This movie was very different than all the other marvel movies. It was also a great break from all of the huge teams, huge battles, and huge cast. It was really nice getting to get to know a few select characters and getting to have battles between only a few people. The small scale was extremely refreshing, and it was really nice to get to see how the characters interact with each other more. And the best character was the cape, just saying...

So all in all, Doctor Strange is a great movie. I would definitely put it above Civil War. Is it perfect? No, but it's different, refreshing, super cool, funny, and fun. Yeah, some of the jokes are pretty great :)

So, lucky you has happened to stumble across this strange little blog in my strange little corner of the internet, and more than likely, you are wondering, "what the heck is this whole thing about?" Not to worry, I am here to answer your questions!

Some of you may already be familiar with me from YouTube or Twitter. If you do know me, then hey! It's fantastic to see you again. If you don't know me, then let me give you a little information. (Don't worry, I'll keep it brief, I hate talking about myself).

Good day, my internet name is Isenbold. My real name is Ben, but Isenbold sounds so much cooler, so I prefer to go by that name online. I create videos and run the YouTube channel B Studios (which you can find at youtube.com/bstudiosnetwork   ...shameless plug....) and I enjoy getting to tell fun and cool and creative and interesting stories. (What a lovely run on sentence). I've been making videos for a while now, but what many of you don't know about me is that I REALLY enjoy writing. It's super cool, and I like it a lot. It's not always easy to transfer writing to video, and thus, I created this blog. Oh, that's right, I'm supposed to keep introducing myself. Well, I love all sorts of nerdy stuff, I love a good pun, and I love creating things. I also love movies a ton, so feel free to make references in the comments (After all, you will probably catch me making some references every once in a while).

Ok! So now that all the boring blah blah blah is out of the way, lets talk about what will be on this blog. I will be posting stories I write based on a certain prompt. These will be a variety of stories, but the purpose of all of them will be to entertain you. There will also be posts like this from time to time where I just talk with you guys, because come on, getting to know and interact with you guys is part of the fun! :)

I have some interesting experiments I may be trying with my writing too, so that will be fun to see. Anyway, uh, yeah, that's mostly all I have for now. I will begin posting my stories soon, so be sure to... uh, subscribe, or, uh, whatever it is you do on blogger.
